I just purchased a Logo 500 v-bar and need help setting it up. Perhaps it is simple and I am expecting something more complicated. I have a series of questions. Can anyone volunteer to help?

If you uste the new Logo Panel there will be only 5 Steps to do.

I would:

- download 3.13 beta from www.vstabi.de
- adjust with the Logo Panel
- do a firmware update (new released at the easter weekend)

This is exactly what I did. My first problem is that my aileron swach movement is reversed. I have all of the servos going into the vbar unit correct. Can I simply switch the aileron wires coming out of the reciever?

Did you start the setup with pressing the "reset everything" button?

The directions should be set right then.

Can you describe which servo is plugged into which port at the VBar unit?

Do you have the Easypanel plug in? If not, I suggest you download it from the Vstabi web site. After installing, you can use it to go through your setup 1 item at a time. There are 20 steps to get setup. Somewhere near the beginning, you check your transmitter sticks against the graphical display on the screen and reverse channels as necessary. You then go to a screen that checks for proper servo movements and these can be reversed as necessary. I was having a problem similar to yours and the program got me straightened out quickly. After the 20 step setup, you should be ready for a test flight.

First off, I fly the Spektrum system. (DX7 and AR 6200) I have all of the servos plugged into the vbar control unit correctly. The aileron from the receiver goes to the aileron of the vbar unit, the elevator to elevator, and the Aux-1 of the receiver to the collective on the vbar unit. If I switch the aileron and collective on the vbar unit, I can get them to work correctly.
