They are planning the 50 Size but will not be out this year. They will do first the AVRO 90 Flybarless and then the 50. Size.

Blitz has a little different strategy then the rest. Normally they first come out with a 50. size machine, for the simple reason that they are more common and less expensive in buying and mantaining (crash).

Blitz will perfect their Avro 90 still untill its perfect and then they will come out with a new model based on the perfect Avro 90.

Anyway, if it comes out it will blow away all the compititors... So Put me 2 on pre order as well

Regards, Dave

on the 90, they are looking at electric, flybarless, and even an engine that uses unleaded fuel,

It will be good to see how they further develope an already successful model..

Avro 50 as a backup practice heli

That would solve one problem of having a lower cost (Fuel wise)backup heli --- keeping it all in the family! Common design and construction techniques, same great service for all my models .... how good could it get!

Now if they also come out with a Turbine powered Heli ---- Blitz will become the Quality choice for what ever heli class they make!

[B]Now if they also come out with a Turbine powered Heli

that is something on the cards for a fututre time,i know someone is working on a governer for the wren and i know Neal was interested in a turbine conversion, but at the moment i would expect they are having enough to do just fuffiling orders on the Standard Avro 90..

It will be good to see a turbine in this machine, I asked Sara at wren and she said at the moment no one is working on a turbine conversion... but it is something they will be interested in..

It would be great to have an all round british machine with a british built turbine... i like the Jetcat and their dedicated pd and boom but to have a biritsh one where you can send it back for a service and get it back within a few days rather than a few weeks, would be great, and speaking from personal opinion to have a machine that is a decent set of mechanics and a good turbine will be great.

As i hate the vario left hand rotation, and their mechanics for pod and boom flying are not the best....

Blitz's Future Models

I don't know what Blitz will come out with in the future but I am sure each new model they introduce will be well engineered and a throughly tested and optimized work - no half steps which would require upgrade parts to make it right.

Marketing wise a high end 50 class heli would make good business sense.

A set of Mechanics for scale folks.

Addition gear sets for optimizing to different engines.

A 50 - 60 - 90 Electric versions.

The Blitz Team will become real busy!
