Hi
I bought a Evo 50 last year and I am soooo happy with it, but lately with all the new 50s hitting the market, how long will the Evo be around?I really love this Heli and wan t to keep it, I guess I will never outfly it, a least not in this life.My question now is, how long will there be parts avaliable once the Evo gets replaced, or do you thing parts will be interchangeable?I am new to Hirobo and really do not know how long they support parts once the machines go out of produktion?

Regards Pete

In my opinion, the parts will be around for a long time. Along with plenty of spares being sold by owners of evo 50 helis.

Man, I miss the eighties.

Pete, you have great new parts support with Udisco in Montreal. I wouldn't worry too much about Hirobo parts support, especially with the EVO50. Just take a look in the Nitro Helis FS here on RR and you can pick up another complete EVO50 for a good price, and then you will have lots of spare parts. If you need good used spare parts just keep checking the Misc FS section also.

Cheers

Hi Blik
Yes I know Part support is great here with Udisco, my question was for how long for the Evo?Some companys run out of spares one year later the model is out of produktion, or you just can t find the parts on their website anymore etc.But I did not expect anything else from Hirobo, I read that there are still many old Shuttels flying strong.

Ron from Ricks still has a full supply of all parts for the Xspec.

That heli is what? 6 years old at least.

Simply put...there are too many freya's and Evo50's about to stop selling the parts.

I can't predict the future but as a reference, you can still get Shuttle parts for the ZX which is definitly moving out of it's teen years in age. I'm confident I'll be able to get parts for mine for a long time to come.

That said, I still stockpile so I don't have to wait to make repairs

Hirobo is known for their parts support. Hirobo also uses alot of the same parts on different models. If their was on manufacture I would count on for having parts for some time, it would be Hirobo.

700N, EVO 50, Caliber 5, Beam 450, and comming soon TREX 9000 :)

Even better, as the heli's improve, many times the base geometries stay the same so you could use the new wizbang head on your Evo 50 in 15 years if you decided to.

I've found old shuttle parts that fit my Evos.
