If u going to get this fuselage, then no choice but to get Mini-Titan as well. That is what I did also. I get the barebone just for this fuselage. I don't even bother to fix the whole Mini-Titan head.
macsgrafs (Ross)... To answer your comment in the youtube, I never fly Mini-Titan with the stock rotor head configuration (that is, with flybar) before. When I build this scale, I completely skip the rotor head configuration and go flybarless straight away. With that, I can't compare the stability to the stock configuration.
Hi cub2000, if u read the post that I posted in RCGroups, I did mention over there. Anyway, the reason I replace those parts is because: 1. Swash Plate. Stock swash plate has some freeplay in the inner swash plate. Unable to use TRex swash plate due to the anti-rotation pin. 2. Swash Plate Follower. U can use wash out as swash plate follower if u want to. For me, I prefer in this configuration. 3. Rotor head + Blade grips. Don't like the behavior of Mini-Titan stock rotor head. Mini-Titan rotor head...especially the blade grips is way too big for the overall rotorhead size (not scale) Unable to TRex blades in Mini-Titan stock blade grips unless I add in washer on it.
