The main point of this is to get rid of the volz servos and use full size servos. does anyone have a list of the parts needed to make this happen? The helis are both 50 sizes the only difference i know of is one uses full size servos and the other dosent and obviously probably a heavier mainshaft/spindle and problably a few other odds and ends. Input please.. Thanks

I use to have a V90 and sold it to keep my other two MP-E's...I want to kick myself now for that move, see my galary if you never seen a V-90 thanks..

They already have all the parts, just need to look them up...Don't need to custom make anything, I just need to figure out what the part #'s are and if anything else is needed then the servo holders being a diff side frame etc... Can someone ring in on the parts it would take to convert to full size servos i.e. v-90, just the servo portion though.

Easier to convert a 90 to a 50 than the other other way around. Converting 3dmpe to full size is not going to be straightforward at all. I'm looking at both as they sit on my desk.

Full Sized Servos

My flybarless full sized servo clad 3dmpe is almost done

Just a few last minute design changes to the flybarless setup and it will be complete...once I get it flying I'll post plenty of pictures and will gladly help out anyone looking to convert their Volz servos to full sized..

I took the design of the 90 and transferred it to the parts on the 50....so it's basically going to use all the stock parts but be VERY similar to the 90 design...it involves the use of a machined support and a g10 mount which wraps around the main gear just like the 90 sized setup...

YES...

The canopy will fit...

I moved the tail servo to the boom also...

Pics will be up very soon...unfortunately my canopy is in the paint shop...but that will be back in a week or 2...
