Sure do

I just like so much the way it flies, maybe because it's only powered as necessary, maybe the robbe blades, maybe the light flybar assembly...

Current setup
eolo spirit pro
robbe carbon main/carbon tail, torque drive and aluTB, alu rotor hub, alu swash
Evo3S3700 on Jazz40/SMT500h bec
3XHS85bb 401/9253
graupner fm rx
futaba 9chp

It's a real cool machine to fly
How do you like yours?

Cheers mates

Cool Hydroman

So finally, what motor do you plan to use?
What kit version will it be on?

As you can see, I've redone mine totally; in fact I got a brand new sealed kit for a bargain, well less expensive than the needed spare parts. Only I have thrown in all the metal bits and electronics from the former (third kit, same machine)

Ok, tried out the eolo yesterday, and Holy $hit the headspeed was WAY too fast....I thought that it was going to suck the low flying birds into the disk....not really, but I am using a hacker C40-9L, 40-6-18, and a 18 tooth pinion....I want to see if I can find a 13 tooth (mod .7) 3.17mm pinion for my motor since I am seeking flight time...I wonder what my actual headspeed is? Anyway, anyone know where I can get this pinion for my hacker?

schönes Spirit LE hubschrauber!
you're motor being a 1600KV, I understand your using a 80A controller. You must be running a big tooth count as well.

today, I was able to fly again, in much better conditions than at the end of last week.
it seems weather is being favourable finally; the temperature is getting better, and the field isn't soaked anymore

so I flew three of these packs and it was nice fun; I even did a loop and autorotations to first flare (at 6 feet high). Has anyone done a touchdown auto with this bird?

I hope you two guys Hydro and Kilo and all others are having nice flying time

Take care

Missing!

hi Hydroman! Very nice pics, but why don't you resize them and get some space between them...nicer

so, I flew yesterday and on my first attempt to a full auto on rc helicopter ever, I screwed up a little
The two former flights have been very fun though.
I have all spares at hand (blade grip and carbon tube for landing gear and mixing lever). Blades and boom are intact

Still flying with old setup

I'm still flying the Eolo with the old (standard) setup (Kontronik kit)
For normal flying, it goes more than OK
I use it only as indoor heli (2x year outdoor) so the whole 3D stuff is not applicable of this heli
