Dear friends .
I'm building the first Vario Air Crane in Spain , inspired in the Air Crane of Joe Howards ...NICE ...PERFECT ...
But I have a doubt about the power engine .I have purchased the G230 RC. and the experts I have consulted told me: "The G230 RC can fly the
Vario Air Crane with six blades rotor head, but performances are reduced" .... ¿? Which performances are reduced?
I have read the post reply of Christopher J. East Coast Vario Field Rep. on page six about AirCrane. Now I´m not sure if I should buy the
two or the six blades head ,I think that if I build a SCALE HELI the
two blades are not realistic and transform the heli in a semi-scale heli.
Please, can someone help me?
Thanks

I would use the two blade head on this version.
Thanks for the compliment.

Whatever you use, it will be a beauty when it's finished. Make sure you post some flying pics when it complete

I second what Joe said. The 230 will run nicely with a two blade set up. I had the priviledge of being a caller for Adam Tasjin at the 05 IRCHA event while he flew his Sky Crane. It performed nicely, and when in the air it looks great, you couldn't tell it was a two blade head, I'm sure yours will be the same.

good luck.

BTW, what you have done so far looks nice.

Two blades

Dear friends.

Thanks for your advice, I will buy the two blades rotor head. Every now and then I will upload some pics of the heli building process.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
