I was flying my MiniJoker today and I noticed the tail belt roller had moved off the bearings and was almost ready to fall off. The tail belt had become loose and was rubbing against the roller. I understand that the tail belt roller is not supposed to interface with the tail belt and that there should be .2 - .3 mm between the belt and the roller. To keep that distance I must keep the tail drive belt pretty tight. Is that normal? Is there any other way to adjust the the tail belt roller so that it does not rub the belt or is keeping the tail drive belt tight the only way to keep the .2 -.3 mm between them?

Also, now the roller is somewhat loose on the bearings and can be slid from side to side right off the bearings. Should I replace the roller now that the roller has worn from interfacing with the belt?

To adjust distance: Open the screw of fin holder and turn holder (and rudder) a little bit. Or take a needle file and lengthen the hole in the rudder fin a little bit upwards.

To adjust cross position between the flange shims of the belt wheel:
Normally that´fits, if not use thin washers either between the roller and the bush or between the rudder and the rudder clamp.

To fix bearing that became loose: Use Loctite green after removing all grease, also CA-bond is fine (but careful). If not successfull you must replace the roller.

Dont put it too high neither. I had .5mm (if I remember well) and had the belt skipping under load...
