| swift 620 600a motor and 8s lipo,can it be done?hey RH50 oldfart knows what he's talking about, more voltage and less amps is more efficient. i'm actually plying with the idea of a 12s setup with a pair of 6s 2500 trex 500 batteries in sereis should weigh same as a 5000 mah 6s pack and run time should be close, becuse of less amp draw.plus there should in theory be more available power for 3D.motors like to be run at there max voltage. i found this out when i first got my swift on 4s it ran hot after one battery couldn't even touch the motor, the same bird same motor,allbeite abetter esc ,on 6s back to back betteries hard adusive flying and the motor is barely above ambiant temp. |
