| I second the 401/9253 suggestion. It's great performance - incredible performance considering the cost of the gyro/servo combo.
The Futaba 8U is a great radio, and JR's 8103 (3810 in Europe) is also a good pick. They're pretty comparable, feature for feature. If you're on a budget, look at the Airtronics RD6000, but ignore the Futaba 6-channel systems, you will outgrow them VERY quickly.
9202s are, in my opinion, overkill for a 30. Regular ball-bearing 3001s worked fine in my Concept 30. It wouldn't hurt to put a 9202 on collective if you want, but don't hurry unless you're into 3D right away.
I'm using 9202s on cyclic in both of my 60s, and a 3001 on throttle in one of them (probably in both of them pretty soon). My Concept had a mere 3001 on collective for years, worked fine. |
