This was my HBK2 maiden flight from a couple of weeks ago. This was my first flight ever on a CP heli. Previous to this flight, I had spent one year flying the Honey Bee FP heli. Anyway, I had never flown with a snow-covered ground coupled with an overcast sky. These visual conditions were somewhat difficult for me. I lost orientation of the heli...oddly while the heli was no more than 25 ft. away from me. Well, you know what happened next. The sound of the crash was much worse than the actual damage:
- Covering stripped from one of the main blades - Broken flybar center holder - Broken flybar - Broken paddle control arms (2) - Bent feathering shaft - Crushed canopy.

Sorry about the crash. Other than the crash you were looking pretty smooth. Keep practicing.

I agree with c54, apart from the crash that's a really good effort for 1st time CP.
