I hear ya Im not that fast either and I'm a bit younger than you I believe. So I couldnt bear to buy the castle link I mean it cost more than the device it programs?

I didn't know faster servos could make things harder to handle.

I'm an older sedate flyer thinking faster meant easier.

I saw a JR add once.

They said "buy these super fast servos to make your 450 feel like a big heli".

My Rex gets there quicker than Im ready for it too. Now the king its slow I push the sticks farther with it course those E-Sky servos you could take a nap before they moved. Oh well scale bird doesnt need much speed.

I guess it's how you fly the 3d guys want instant response for all the moves. I just want a connected feel kinda small stick movements gving me a response but not so fast that i'm over controling.

I must say the 55's on 4.8 just felt to slow and thats the first time I felt that even the king stock servos didn't give me that come on move sucker kinda feel

Before I added all the weight to the Trex with the scale body when I'd go from the King to it the first 60 seconds was interesting to say the least until I got the feel of the faster Trx

Are you feeling better today Tryan? Sounded like you were pretty sick the other day

IMHO

Faster servos make everything easier.

3D to scale flying.

There is no loss of control caused by fast servos.

Just the opposite.

Your right Mike

If I had to put up with slow or get used to really fast I'd go with the fast would be easier to get out of trouble as long as I didn't over control. I've never used expo (never really understood it) but it seems like you just slow response using it yet many people do. Do I just not understand it's benefits?

Gary,
With expo you can make the control faster torward the center or slower. Whatever you want. You just have to remember if you make it faster torward the center it will be slower toward the outside. I only use it on the rudder. It makes the rudder swing very quickly with less movement.

Im alive thanks for asking gary. Im down to a football size clump of mucus in my chest making breathing hard.

And my king is sloppy and slow after the hs65's on the rex but it is what it is cant imagine the king with 65's.

Good day to fly a kite.

it was windy all day here, then at 6:30pm it slowed down so I took the bee out. I flew good for like 3 min then motor came loose and lost all power and fell out of the sky, bent spindle, broken bell controllers and one blade snapped off.

I need go find me some better screws to hold the motor in place.
