Hi Greg

Not gonna let that old pool intimidate me . Truth be told I do panic now if I dip a little in flight while over it .

The mini really is nice I'm using Hs-55s on cyclic that I stole from the king at 5.8 volts with a 9650 on the tail and I have to say for cheap servos I'm very pleased. I'll upgrade them someday and put the 55s back in the King If I don't get rid of it before then

You say you're running the 55's at 5.8... Have you ever run them at 4.8? If so, what differences have you noticed? Any shorter battery life?

I have HS55's in the King and I might want to try 5.8, but I only get 4 minutes per flight as it is,and I don't want to shorten it any.

The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.

IMHO, Voltage variation to servos would not impact flight time.

Higher means faster of course.

Another crappy day, rain and wind.So its time for a bit of insanity.
Instaled my flycam in diferent angles to capture some weird perspectives.
Some unbalanced belt cp badly, but funny

last capture is from my actual flight, doing little left-right circuits.
Gotta bring that training gear and go for nose-in.

That's pretty cool. What camera are you using?

Hi Shizak

Yes I did notice a difference going from 4.8 to 5.8 The CC 10 amp Bec lets you change the output volatage with castle link. I didn't want to push it to 6volts. The Mini was slow to react at 4.8 and felt much better at 5.8 enough so that I'm not in a hurry to get better servos. No change in flight time

So it was a noticeable sense of better control?

Is there a down side to it?

Wow! Incredible little camera. I had pretty much given up on onboard cameras since most use 2.4ghz and conflict with FAAST and Spektrum. This once uses onboard storage, so no transmissions.

Much better control not so mushy or a delay like feel If I input something it happens now before it felt like I had to over control to move it

higher voltage doesnt really have a big effect until you get into the more capable servos.

Man I love that camera the cockpit view is awesome.

I see a .03 sec difference there.

Alot of money has been spent over a .03 second improvement.

The extra torque may have helped more than the speed increase. All I know for sure is it improved enough that I'm happy flying it now and will delay putting better servos in

Im not doubting you at all gary. I'm just tryan to point out that that extra volt makes a huge difference with the hs55's big brother the hs65. So if your one of dem 3D guys you may want to look into a CC10 and programming her for 6V.

After all you were the first to review the 43t pulley mod for us.

I really like the CC10 much better than the Park bec I was using. Didn't like paying as much for the castle link as i did the bec it's self but it worked good.

I have the 65's in the Trex and run them at 4.8 And it's plenty fAST FOR ME Not sure I could handle the 65's at 6 volt Ya gotta remember I'm sorta old thumbs don't move as good as they used to
