I'm waiting on the main rotors right now.

I went a little over budget with this thing.

Yeah probably the same as my Rappy. Did you go with the hyper, redline or TT engine?

I find I enjoy the smaller helis the most.

I flew the 450 around 8:00.

I'm stretching into "kinda" nose in. Diagonal.

I find I can transition in and out of this.

I'm thinking 1/2 throttle, and 6 degree pitch, will give me a sedate hover. Sound about right?

Still puttering away with ol' King, in the garage. I'm now up to 3 2200 25c Outrage packs and quite franky 10 minutes is too long doing toolman piros a few feet from the magnetic little red wagon. Fingers are shaking and brain goes to mush after 5 minutes. I'm now going to nose-in and holding it just to rest the brain. Funny, I never remembered nose-in being so relaxing. Those slow piros really raise the bar and I'm beginning to question my ability to conquer them. But I've got time, a good runn'n heli and a bunch of batteries, so I'll keep at it.

It helps to take a break for a few days. I stopped doing them for a few days and did alot of ff. When i came back to it i was much better at them. Thats when i decided to remove TG. I think you are on the cusp.

Mike,
i did for set up. That was the only time. I just needed to make sure the engine would run right. no bogging. I generally dont get to much past the 1/2 throttle. Transitional lift takes over. I dont fly it hard. Dont know if i ever will. Its smooth as silk though.

The weather is bad so I'm stuck in the garage. I have been taking breaks from them and finding all the interesting things that I am now able to do in the confines of a two car garage.

Oh, and Tryan, pollen is crazy here as well. I'm now up to 4 different alergy medications, along with Tylenol to manage the head aches.

Lookin good there Gary. I'm surprised you still flying over the pool The Mini is running nice. I just can't get over how stable it looks in video. Ever time I see one on video it looks like the video is running in slow motion.
