I ordered the flybar cage cause the plastic one moves to much. I also bought the 325 aligns and the adapter to fit the blades. They will be here tomorrow or Monday. I dont know why it bobs a little. I have taken the tail apart 3 times. Ive made everything really smooth. Nothing is too tight. Ive tried changing the gyro gain. It doesnt do it all the time. I was trying to figure out when it was mostly doing it while flying but its to inconsistent. I dont care. It flies so good. It makes me look like a pro although im far from it. I put over 600 flights on the belt cp but it never flew this good. It was a great flyer and i would reccomend it to anyone as a starter but there comes a time when you must move on.

Hello my name is Chris and it has been 40 flights since my last crash ...

Yeah yeah, I put 10 batteries through the king today. First was my 6 at the gym. My newest challenge was to fly without TG and do all the stuff I have been doing recently. Then after work I tried a pack out at the big field but the wind just took all the fun out of it. Later I ran 3 more packs at home. Since it has rained a bit lately, there is no dust in the front yard but now there are puddles and mud. I flirted with one but saved it. First two packs were no-TG and the last was all balls out with TG. Good times except for the bugs.

In other news, I ran the new radio for 2H24M on the last charge and it was down to 9.6v. Timers rock! I also opened it up today to have a look inside and wow it looks nothing like a 6EX inside. The wiring is all way neater run, the boards are all bigger and there is one less big one, the sticks have metal pins that push on the spring mechanisms instead of plastic and there indeed are adjusters on all the springs. I also found out that all the toggle switches are mounted to circuit boards so there is no way to move the trainer switch over to the idle-up side. That would leave the th.hold switch open for those critical times when I need to hit it NOW! I could unsolder it but I guess I will just learn to live with it.

I only ran 2 packs today Damn wind and rain. But that said I did get to let the King go for the first time. I have put 162 batteries through the King and I have always kept it pretty close, say no further than 50ft away. I have had a few exciting moments with the King over those batteries but I have never just "let it go". So I just "let it go" and man was it a heart thumper but it was good! I tried to keep the King about 30ft up but I had a hard time maintaining a fixed altitude. Most of the flying was what I would guess would be called fast ff. Probably 20-30mph cruising. I never really had a plan, so I just nudged it this way and that. It was a lot of fun but as soon as it started, it all had to end cause of the damn wind came up again. Hopefully I get to let 'er loose again tomorrow.

After work, I flew a pack in the lighted parking lot. 2:15 am is about the only windless time lately. I realized that a 10T on a 4200kv is a bit much. I put a 9T back on and it felt SOOO much better. It was still windless at 7:15. Almost bedtime. Almost. Got a li'l trailer parkin' in.

It wanted to bob a bit with the 10T, and it felt twitchy, even at 85% D/R. With the 9T, even 95% D/R wasn't bad.

Would be except my heli is busted up right now, waiting for some parts so I can get back out there and learn how to avoid crashing it again. Oh well I guess that's a part of this great hobby!!

Ah two packs with the REX in the front yard at sundown. the wind quit and the bugs moved the midwest is saturated bring all the bugs out really bad. I literally had a bug in my ear the whole pack. I tried to twitch and get it out but no such luck. I think I would of rather had the kids yelling screaming and cheering.

Flew 15 packs today and it was windy 5-10mph. with gusts to 20mph. I just got the hh gyro on and it has helped alot. Did alot of loww level hovering tail in with the occasional side hover in also. Almost ditched it a couple of times due to the wind. It moves around alot more than I thought. All in all it was a good day. Can't stop flyin this thing. AWESOME

I bought 10 packs when I had the stocks charger cause it took so long to charge. Now I got the cellpro 4 charger and probably don't need all of them. I wish I had bought good packs but i'll use these until they die.
P.S. That wind and no fun to fly in when you don't know how to fly.

cant beat the training though. If your still learning in normal mode its tough. But when you get flying a little and switch to idleup with a good headspeed from a good brushless setup the wind doesnt really effect it till 15mph. Keep with it It only gets funner the less you crash.

Yup ... I flew ( I can say that now!!!) 3 packs this morning but it has been too windy to have fun the rest of the day. BTW my most ever run batteries is a measly 10. Now that I have two chargers and 6 packs, that number will be history as soon as I get a whole nice day. It will come, it will come.

Today I managed to fit the HBK2 into the top case on the back of the BMW R 1200 with the TX and three charged batteries. Stopped by the field while I was out riding and flew all three packs. Windy, but the little HBK did quite well as long as I kept it moving at a decent speed.

I got to ride and fly in the same trip...

I learned to fly on a Trex, I learned to crash on a Blade CP...
