Well the ole man stopped in just a few minutes ago. Had to burn another pack he hasn't seen the new heli airborn till tonight.

Love this topic we get to really hear about who's earning frequent flier miles.

Ya the trex 450 is way too powerful for you to handle...

don't be so mean
i only fly helicopters for 3months. even the belt cp is too powerful for me to handle

the real problem would be the cost of the trex 450. believe me. i will stay for a long time with the belt cp and my hbk2

I am staying away from the trex as well...

Hey, nice video Sween!

After redoing my HBK2, I could really flight it today; I had tracking issues saturday when I tried that I finally managed to solve. Apparently, all plastic blade grips are not equally produced. Nevermind, it's now flying like a charm. All stock except 401/HS50

I redid my radio setup as well: 0°at midstick in all modes and idle up throttle at 100% everywhere
Well it was really cool, windy but cool... I even managed to do a couple of decent rolls and loops, with confidence. Soon, I hope I can hover inverted, caus that something I still can't do

I hovered in my basement! (the king not the Lama). Actually got all 4 balls of the training wheels off the ground at one time!
Big freakin deal, I know....but God has the wind turned up on High outside for some reason, and it's indoors or nuthin'.

dunno, that's the one I am using though...

are you solving your tracking issues on the blade? did you chek for eventual play in blade grips/bearings/feathering shaft...this is grabbing those grips and pulling them in and out, and up and down. That's, how I check for play

Is this thread still open for flying updates?

I got a pack through the Mini today but damn was it just a bit too windy to have fun. I am still too scared to crash my new shinny heli I guess. Then I TOTALLY rebuilt my King after my recent concrete incident. Turned out to be a $29 crash. Also I used that high pressure silicone spray that is available at walmart to clean and flush all my metal parts and man is it running smooth again. I hate flying in my dirt parking lot at my house cause of the dirt and dust that gets into my helis, but sometimes that is the only place that is available. You gotta do what you gotta do, right?

- Chris

I own the King of helis! And a Mini too!

2 more packs today in the f***** wind.... I wish it would stop soon It's hard to be smooth in the turns with the wind beating the crap out of your perfect figure 8... I guess I'll have to take up 3D so nobody will notice I can't fly smooth and controlled in the wind...

Got 2 good packs in today. Kinda working on 360º and 720º piros both directions. 360º's are good, but it's gonna take a little more stick time to go 720º and not stop nose-in...

Almost sounds like an Esky catch phrase. Nothing will ever beat "Ready for your fly!", but "avoid fly when sun is fierceness" comes close, especially in areas like this where 110º is common in summertime.
