| Flew 2 1/2 packs through the Rex450 today and learned a lesson.
During my last crash rebuild I noticed that the belt was looking a bit stressed, even though I had a spare on hand I didn't change it out. 1/2 way through pack 3 the belt snapped, I managed to put it down but couldn't prevent a tip over so it cost me a fly-bar, main spindle and feathering spindle, and I have to change the belt anyway.
So the moral of the story is that if you think something looks like it needs replacing, then is probably does and laziness will catch up with you. |
