Way too windy and too cold for flying today I was hoping to try out my new DX7. I flipped the grips (and pretty much everything else above the swash) on the belt cp for leading edge control. If that doesn't give me enough response I have super light paddles I can install With those mods and some extra pitch I think I'll be ready to try flips again

I can never understand the windspeed here the net right now says 7MPH. Well the height I plan on flying my heli treetop high the branches are swaying fairly well. So my next quandry is at what height do these people measure windspeed?

According to the beaufort scale at treetops Im seeing between 17-21.

I think the "fiber" blades Burly is talking about are not CF.

They are a plastic and fiber mix.

I almost bought those as a spare,
but after so much praise on the align woodies,
I went with a set of those.

Also ordered a blade 400 tail slider for my belt-cp.
I think the new tail slider for the belt-cp2 is the same as the blades,
but you can't order parts that are specific to esky's new line just yet.

Hey Fender,
did you see my nose in spot landing a page or so back?

I have to clean house right now,
but later I am going to posts last night's video

playing in the leaves!

I know good advice when I ignore it ;)

Got to try out my new dx7 today along with leading edge blade grips and axe cp flybar paddles The belt cp flies so much better now, much more powerful, more sensitive and has a more locked in feel. I was surprised at how well the esky hh gyro worked when I punched full throttle. Maybe I'll try flips again tomorrow Just got to setup my idle up curves.

Wait till you get some real servos on it,
(don't forget I know where to get hs-65hb's for $19.99).

It becomes a whole new animal.

That's one thing that's really awesome about upgrading an esky,
no tiny improvements,
each thing you upgrade makes a noticeable improvement.

Yeah it could have been clean up,
but it was a school

Yeah it was all but dark.

I flew two batteries at my usual park,
drove to work,
and flew in the parking lot of the school across the street before clocking in.

I know good advice when I ignore it ;)

I had the stock esky tx. I can get so much more power out of the belt cp with the dx7.

Flipping the blade grips (and everything else above the swash) for leading edge control gives it more precision.

Dan,
I was looking at my head figuring out what you were talking about by the whole leading edge thing.

And I have to wonder,
that is so simply obvious,
why wouldn't they have it that way in the first place?

I know good advice when I ignore it ;)
