I got a couple of flights in today. A little windy, but havent had the chance in a few days.

Its always fun when I carry my heli through the hotel lobby and see the looks that some people give me. Unfortunately, the hotel parking lot is not always the best place to fly when its windy. Mostly I will fly by the older POS's instead of the nicer cars so that way if I actually DO hit one, it wont be as bad. he he he.

Also, just recently put on the Logitech 2100 and the futaba digital servo. Still working it out and fine tuning it.

Thanks Bob! After playing with the HBK2, the stock Blade dampers are just mush. And yes, it seems to make the cyclic very sloppy. I'll get that fixed then I might try a cheap HH gyro. If I end up flying it a lot I'll look at the BL setup. Its great to have second heli. Its seems the HBK2 is grounded a fair amount of time and its nice to have a backup.

Greggors, the dampning material BOB speaks of is Gates windshield washer and vacuum tubing 7/64 x 72 inches. I guess BOB is using it on his Blade cp with success, I only used it on my Copter X CNC head but there is no reason you couldn't use it on any head 450 size or under.

Just showing how close the heli was to me under control slid my foot under the rotor thats a 6x6 square. Wanted to show UT Neon that stable hovers are a staple to good flight he is now learning that very well and still progressing fast.

Next time I guess Ill shave my hairy bird legs with the rotor.

Mmike - I don't think anyone wants to top my little whoops. You put your left foot in, you take your left foot out, you put your right hand in and you...never mind.

Ut_neon why the waggle? I have a belt cp all purple and it hovers solid as a T**x. Gain too high or maybe need a new tail servo? What gyro are you using? Just wondering. Does the wag go away in Idle-up?

Fly hard, have fun and take it home in one piece...
