has anyone been to the century helicopters website lately? I just purchased a swift 550carbon used here on the forums and wanted to get some parts, it seems as though century has stopped selling parts and refers you to other vendors. a real bummer as I always had good service from century.

Century (the manufacturer) never did sell parts directly to us Century flyers.

Their site used to automatically switch you to their own associated retail hobby shop (Heli-World).

I am sure that is why so many of our local hobby shops would rather carry Thunder Tiger, Align or Hirobo, as they did not compete directly with the hobby shops that stocked their product, by selling directly to those who fly their helis. It seems most LHS's do not want to carry Century products if they were going to only promote the retail store they owned.

So now they refer you to these other stores, including Heli-World. Maybe now, hoefully, we will see more LHS's start to carry the helis and parts.
