e-Miniature Aircraft Furion - Razor - Ion-X > IonX2 Battery Question

I'm on the verge of buying either Henesleit MPXLE or an IonX2.

I like to run (2) FP 6s1p 22.2v batteries. Is this possible? How would the IonX2 balance? Would I have to add some tail weight? Would this be considered a 12s?

Been there done that!

Which 6S packs you got, 3700s, 4350's 4900's ?? I have run most of the FlightPower 6S packs (as 12S) on my Ion X2 and it can handle all of them very well. Depending on which packs you run and where you place certain items on the heli it will balance just fine.

For example when I run the 3700's I have my Rx pack up front to keep the balance right, but when I run the 4900's I move it to one of the side plates behind the C of G and again it is fine. About a minute has that done no probs. Thats what I did for 3D Masters last year. I ran 3700's for music and freestyle (if the freestyle round had not been cancelled) and the 4900's for my Set Manoeuvres.

If you have just one type of 6S pack then just arrange the Rx pack, esc, reg etc to suit the C of G and thats it away you go and you will never touch them again but I assure you once you sample the power of the Ion X2 you won't look back!
