" and the channels have been re-sequenced to speed up response in helicopter application"

Finally they admit it...

Does anyone have any first hand expirience with both types of Rx's and actually noticed a difference ?

Not me but if you do a search, some people reported "swash dancing" which is pretty obvious because the PIT channel is like 3 slots away in the 607 version and close together with the 617 version

Will you notice in flight? Well judging by the last video you posted, I doubt you would notice if you happen to forget to install a gyro, not to mention swash dancing lol.

Actually, people who could fly 3D with no gyro, usually find swash dancing quite annoying !

So who has R617's in stock ?

The 617 Rx is setup for ECCPM helis.

The sequence of servo signals on the R607 is 1-2-3-4-5-6-7
The sequence of servo signals on the R617 is 7-6-1-2-3-4-5

and the guts are different.

Fritz

So why not just use channels 1-2-3 for the eCCPM on the 607 if you use a 12FG, 12Z or 14MZ - will that have the same effect as running the 617 Rx ?

the 12/14 channel fasst tx's use 1-2-4 for ccpm; channel 3 is the only channel with throttle failsafe. I don't think you would want to give up the failsafe feature for an undetectable change in swash behavior.

Because the 607/617 receivers are made for the proletariat radios like the 6/7/8/9C. The burgois owners of the 12/14 Radios can affort the 14ch receivers.

So to make a long story short can a 607 work in an eccpm heli? Or is the swash dancing to much. Just bought a 607 two days ago!!! for my Swift 620!

Thanks

I am 99% sure that he means you have to be in the top 10% of all pilots before you can notice any difference.

in other words "you will never know" any difference at all.

I switched from 607 to 617 and couldn't tell the difference.

I think you are influenced by JR's "feel the difference" ad...
