Not to get on the bashing bandwagon, but I looked at his eBay store page and he has a Raptor 30 for sale $450.oo (a bit hi IMHO)with a fp-g154 gyro. Isn't this a old mechanical spinning wheel type gyro that's been dead for years.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

I am a newby mayself but have found that most everyone that is better than I - that means everyone - almost=== has been willing to help me in everyway but it appears like so much in life - the only way to learn is spend hours at it,,, sim - flying and wrecking - fixing sim - flying and wrecking - fixing and pretty soon you can hover and are getting impatient to do rad 3d stuff I'l be 58 this month and I have done a lot of stuff like this but there is no easy answer

I did do RADIX's (sp) school which is just a free print out I got online and the suggestion was to spend some time running up CLOSE to going airborne but staying on the ground - it got me over my fear of the machine itself and I managed to fine tune things so that when I finally took off after three days of running up on the ground I was familiar with the sound, radio tx controls, etc. Whatever works for you but most of all DON'T GIVE UP - this hobby has a very high attrition rate of frustrated people who look for the easy way

By the way does anyone know of an easier way than I just described

It's called a simulator. It will take you far beyond what that Radd's would do, and it's something you will use for several YEARS or DECADES in this hobby.

A simulator costs the equivalent of 3 or 4 lessons from Manny, and you will learn so much more than you would learn in 100 lessons.
And crashes are free on the simulator, and so is fuel.

"El Dooderino" if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

TUT, TUT. That's a bit harsh! Manny totally believes his own story, He has aquired all the material trappings of success.

People who are stupid, reckless and irresponsible with money, should not be entrusted with it.

Man(ny) -up and admit he is the saviour of the weak, foolhardy and gullible....he makes them very happy to get rid of that burdensome cash whilst buying his own family a lavish lifestyle.

Manny's spiritual wellbeing may be another story...maybe he'll start having doubts......sleepless nights.... a re-appraisal of what it means to be a member of society.

Wow, look what my thread started!

Poor Manny... Just curious. Does he ever go to any of the big RC Heli events? Do the real celebrities of this hobby embrace him as one of their own, or is he thought of as poorly with them as he seems to be here?

I must admit, if it wasn’t for the outpouring of offers from so many to assist me in learning this hobby, I would think all of you were pretty damn nasty. Now I realize it's just Manny, and not the community. In addition to RC Heli's, my other hobbies include saltwater reef tanks. In my years of being active in that hobby, I have never met anyone who has managed to become so disliked by so many. Good Lord Manny, if your reading this thread, please figure out a way to build a bridge back to the community. It has to be awful to be so disliked by so many.... Maybe tone it down a bit with your claims? offer to actually help instead of just make obnoxious claims about your ability... Something, anything...
