350 bucks gets you 2 full days of "Freestyle 3D", one day of heli setup and at least 5 full flights on the second with Todd Bennet and Matt Botos. Not such a bad deal considering what The Manny likes to get.

Your credibilty would get a big boost if you did the right thing and you refunded most if not all of gaciones money.

I'll be out there in Sept for my dad's 80th birthday. I'd be happy to crash your helicopter for free

ShellDude still thinks that the fin on that twin turbo supra is as proportionate to the size of the body it rests on as is Manny's ego to his ability

I'll say again, love to have a 1998 Supra - they are cool...

But my all time dream car is a 1970 Superbird, has been since I was about 14 yrs old and could conjugate "cool" and "car" within some semblance of cognitive reasoning.

No one could reasonably argue the lack of cool in this wing or it's effectiveness in cleaning up at the speedways. Joe Dirt had it right with this one

At least that sweet Plymouth machine could go fast enough for the wing to be effective. Few cars look sillier than those which can't even muster the speed for a wing to do its job, like that four-door sedan above. Oy.

BTW, you're hijacking HeliguyNJ's thread!

sorry - it's late at night and the Park Ave. got me going (or maybe it was the turbo box taped to the ?Camery? hood)

anyhow - Manny went from funny to sad in my book. I'm here for the cutting humor and entertainment. I do hope that Manny makes some attempt at rectifying his wrongs but I don't hold much hope. Glad to see that his shenanigans have cost him a small sponsorship and a big public embarrassment loosing that position.

Looks like Jason was offering an honest deal to Manny and Manny didn't hold up his side and turned into a liability for MaxAmps. Action taken here makes me want to buy MaxAmp products.

I like the suggestion of pavan_mex. Therefore I am entitled to participate in this because I am one of the people that have an issue with Manny (oops, I mean JRVibe90).

So JRVibe90, I paid you as requested $500 for your premier training package. You probably didn’t assume that I was keeping track of the time you actually spent but I was. Total time spent “training” was just under 3 hours, and that was a stretch. Actual stick time was far less but I guess I will not split hairs, and not factor in the rebuild cost to my 90 when it went in under your expert tutelage.

In accordance with your posted fees and my time accounting you still owe me 8.1 hours of “training” or a refund of $364.50. Humm, let’s see, I choose the refund. I expect my refund within the week. You can post it to my PayPal account (gascione@lhhosting.com). Of course I expect that you will act much more responsibly then my fellow flying club mates that you bashed on your web site, and actually own up to your obligation and promptly pay me. I would hate to have to take this to the next level. Rest assured the moment my refund hits the bank I will gladly notify the entire RunRyder population that I was wrong about the business acumen of Manny Lao. Perhaps he does know how to do the honorable thing. I am somewhat encouraged based on the comments of FBoss.

Thank you in advance Manny, sorry again JRVibe90, for doing the right thing. Because after all, you would never screw anyone and wouldn’t want to be known as somebody that did.

You know who I am and how to get in touch with me. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Day three sports fans and no word from Manny, JRVibe90, Joe McCripo, or any other BS aliases he is using. I know your reading this Manny. Tick Tock, Tick Tock.

How extensive was the damage? If someone was buddy boxing me, I am in his care whether I was paying him or not. The whole reason for buddy boxing is so when I attemt a maneuver (one that the instructor is capable of) and fail, he can bail me out like the little red button.

If someone was just helping me and he couldn't bail me out, I'd still be pissed off. If I was paying someone to bail me out when I get in trouble, and he couldn't, that is a whole different story.

Not disparaging the rest of us anymore than possible but all of us are to some degree nutz just for the fact that we like to play with helicopters IMO.

Also IMO Manny is a certifiable paranoid schizophrenic as evidenced by his third person narrative even on his own website, let alone through his multitude of aliases on the net, where he extols his questionable virtues as if some higher power is anointing him to sainthood.

$75 and hour for an EE / ITE / PBS (professional BSer), whats up with this crap Manny hard time finding work

I draw more than that as an oilfield consultant and I don't have a college degree. EEs and IT professionals out here draw well into the 3 figures per hour range and the cost of living is half of what you East Coasters have to endure.

You guys are lucky he bailed from your club. You should be grateful he's gone, and woe be to any other outfit that has the misfortune of accepting him into their midst

What those two guys owe him is questionable at best. Interesting however that he feels can pursue them for a few dollars and totally ignore me.

The damage was bad enough. It went in nose first. The head was the upgraded Evo FFZIII rotor head with a ton of upgrades. Took out the head, blades, frames tail shaft, tail blades, boom.

Manny never even apologized for the crash, just blamed it on mechanical failure. Manny blames all crashes on mechanical failure.

Hey here is a interesting fact for red_z06, I grew up in Dumont. Only home I knew until I was 24.

Bashing Me and the Club

I was not going to say anything about this but it just got under my skin how about what Manny said about me and the South Jersey Heli Flyers members on his web site. How he help people and we didn't compensate him. And how his speaker at our funfly blew and he didn't ask the club to compensate him. Manny if your speakers blew why would the club compensate you for your speaker, you donate that to the club for our funfly we did not ask you to bring them you just showed up at the funfly with them put up the music you did not tell anyone your bringing them and your complaint that I am charging club members dues to fly at a county park. You have to remember that we maintain that field by cutting the field, and we are a club and the county let's us fly there but as all club's do they have dues, bylaws and rules that each members have to abide by. We are a AMA saction club and if any one has a problem with our club rules should take it up with the club at the meetings. And as to your stating on your web site that I charged club members for the food at our funfly and you felt club members should not be charged, well that was a fun fly and any one who wanted food has to pay like anyone else. You see Manny your not telling everyone how as our Flight Instructor you was never available to help people and they have come to me ( new members) and have told me that they cannot get in touch with you.Your response was that you had a new job and cannot fly that much and I understand this but you never told me about your new job you just let it go on and on for months and after I sent you that email about the club terminating you as the Instructor that is when you emailed me about the new job and before then when people was trying to contact you I tryed to contact you for months but you never called me nor emailed me using the lame excuse that my email was not working , well Mammy my phone number was working and if you could not be the flight instructor all you had to do was call me. As a flight instructor you have to be available to help members and new members. So Manny if you want to talk about people please look in the mirror and do the right thing and pay George what is due to him.
Also your claiming that you felt sorry for me that I was in hover mode and you wanted to help me Manny that is not the way a True Flight Instructor acts and me being stuck in hover was not the situation,There again you want to boast your ego like your such an expert flyer that you got me in going but Manny that was not the case.

I think he honestly believes he's totally in the right and we're all crazy. He can't comprehend why no one worships him like he does himself

Heard about this the rumor of forum from our club where Manny is currently a member. As far as I can recall, Manny joined our club early spring of 2006. I find it very funny that he has a collections of Kyosho Concept 30 which I have never seen in years. I notice that he seem to have a very good control and smooth on the stick. I dare him so many time to try and do a loop but he is scared to do it so I performed a few inverted flights with my Century 30 to simply show how easy it is.

The next time around he got a Raptor 30 but still will not do any sports type manuever. For the whole year I saw him fly, he does nothing but a boring straight flight even with a Raptor 30 - 3D capable helicopter. 3 months later after that - he amazed me with his new style of flying. I have never seen anyone fly the way he does and he gets lower and lower to the ground as time went by.

I though that there is something special about this guy so I be friend with him. He is kind, humble and willing to share what he knows in 2 over years I knew him. I am so surprized with what I read here coming from people I dont even recognize that knew Manny.

The negative thing I observed about him is his guts. He is a short guy about 5'6 or 5'7 but he doesn't take crap from any one even if it kills him so to speak. On the positive side this maybe a contributing factor he surpased my flying skill in a very short period.

Many pilots in our club have issues with the way he flys deeming he is dangerous - flying so close and so low to the ground and nobody in the club fly the way he does so predictably. He was offered to be a club instructor for the Helicopter but never commented nor accepted the offer officially. However he always help others who ask him for help. I lately seldom see him in the field and I'm starting see why from all this bashing and ridicules I read.

In his website, I do not see anything but his attempt to build confidence to prospects. His website proclamation of himself being a prodigy can be construed as a positive thing for all of us because if he learned to fly the way he does in 3 mos. like I witnessed and call him average, that makes most of us morons compared to him. Why not give this some thoughs before you post comment.

Well, I hope I contributed something here and make you all think twice about what you are commenting here. I'm not a forum blogger and getting to old for this but somehow the rumor spreading made me curious to register and comment knowing him and all. I hate to see a good pilot like him give it all up because I enjoy watching him do what he does consistently with his aircraft. This forum is sad. That is all I could say.

Maybe the next time I see him, I will advice to him see a lawyer to sue this forum for defamation and use of his pictures without authorization as I see so far in violation of his rights. I surely hope you dont bash me like the few other who spoke positive of him.
