| I have been out of the action for about a year, and finally was able to unpack and assess the status of my helis. My MX-400 is still in great shape, but I need main blades. I find that the stock of spare blades I have on-hand for my Shogun are too thin and don't fit in the blade grips. Anyone know where I can get stock blades, or aftermarket ones, that have the correct cord thickness? Failing that, I suppose I could shim the blades I have. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I see that in my absence everyone has pretty much abandoned the 400 class helis. I am sticking with them simply for budgetary reasons—can’t afford to buy all new 450 class airframes and associated stuff. The cost of batteries alone would put the hobby out of my reach! |
