Life got in the way. Got married so less money for heli stuff. Then the kid came along, so even less money for heli. Now, with authorization from my better half( who is already regretting it). I plan on making my comeback this saturday. Still debating on whether I should drive down to sumner or just go to Marymoore park. Marymoore is only 4 miles away.

Hey guys,

I just confirmed with Keith, the president of the RAMS club that this is a one day (Saturday) only event. So if the weather is no good then he will have to approach the club with an alternate date.

That being said, I will be there rain or shine. I am sure we will get some type of flying in, even if it's Kiwidave flying his blade CX in the rain. It was quite a show last year when he was laying down some real smack with that Blade CX. His piro flips were low and tight, and the tic tocs were amazing.

See you there,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
We got contradictory info going on here. When Dale talked to Keith he indicated Sunday was ok in case of a rain-out. Well, its too late to worry about it now. Cya tomorrow!

A few of us fly there every now and then. Usually on Friday's when Geyser is closed to Nitro. It's a unique place to fly, but not my favorite.

Can I fly as a guest up there? I wouldn't mind trying a different field once in a while.

Had a great time yesterday at the RAMS.

Keith wanted me to be sure and thank Dale for the lunches. Thanks Dale and also thanks to Brian, I think Brian is a great asset to the hobby shop.

We saw a little bit of carnage but for the most part everyone held them together. It was great to get out and see everyone and see some great flying. It's amazing how many have progressed in this hobby in such a short time.

See you guys again soon,

Jeff

Yes, they allow us to bring guests to fly there. They have a limited flight schedule (because of the neighbors). They allow Nitro's to fly on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat until 5pm. Since Geyser is closed to Nitro's on Friday that works out well when the Friday bug bites.

For those that don't know, the field is on top of a closed landfill. There is a combination paddlelok to get in, so anyone who wants to show up needs to meet one of us at the gate. Just let us know when you'd be interested and we can set something up!
