Hello everyone,
just wondering what starter everyone who owns a 90 uses. I have a torque master 90 and it worked the first day i went out and now it doesn't work on my 90. It can't spin it over. looking at getting a different one.

Thanks
A.J.

I use a Torque Master 180 on 14.4v. It starts my YS91 SR just fine. I also used it to start my old OS91 SZ without any issues. I really wanted to get the Sullivan, but this setup was a bit easier on the wallet .

Another vote for a dynatron on 6S. Was at the field last week and a friend with a new 50 os could not get it going. 1/2 seconds on the dynatron and it was purring like a kitten.

I am using ECO 90 from Graupnermodellbau past ten years - OS 61SXH, YS91ST and now OS91SX H - with no problems.
12V , 238Ncm , 1947g , 211x86x64mm, suitable for engines abov 90 till 180.

I run a Sullivan Dynatron on a 5S pack and it will start anything as well. If your not careful and have a hydrolocked engine it WILL spin the fan off the crankshaft.

Second/third/fourth on the Sullivan Dynatron (I call it megatron) on TPX 6S 5000MAH pack.

I gave up on everything else but be careful on 50's as it may engage the clutch it spins so fast...

I only crash due to random planetary intervention

Well i didn't really want to send a lot of money so i bought a TorqueMater 180 and used my 2 7.4 volt batteries. (14.4 volts) And that will NOT start my 90.

A.J.,

Try a 5 or 6 cell LIPO battery pack with your starter. I think you will be suprised.

Borrow one from a friend before spending any money and see if you like it.
