They don't really fit that well. You'll have to notch out out the upper servo bolt holes to make it line up right with the rear servo. I was going to use 4 of them but I only had two and couldn't find another two to make up the difference so I went with 9650's instead. They fit better but the damn servo leads are too short!

I think the performance of those servos would be better though, compared to the 9650s, they seem to center and hold much better. Once I get my hands on another two, I might switch...but I'll probably just leave it as is.

ok i know where you can get some more of the 3650's, but what i dont understand is they are the same size as the 3400g's, so why dont they fit.....

Have 3650 JR servo in my 500 and fit excellent, little bit of space around the servo to the frame but put them right in middle of the frame and mounts excellent with kit hardware included.

Only thing was looking at stock servo horns didn't think they would work so picked up some Dubro ones and they work excellent.

ink they fit fine and are totaly kickass. I have 4 on my 500 with spartan 760 gyro. they don't fit great but they fit and are the best servos you can get on the 500. I am using Hangar 9 aluminum servo horns to get 15mm. no pictures yet.

and did not cut the frames dont know why you would?

The 3421 servos fit just as well and are very good for the 500...just a tad slower though.

I figure if you can beat on them on a Logo 14 then it should do ok on a 500 and it does

Im very curious about these 3650 though. Has anyone done a comparison?

my 3650's dont line up to the holes on the 500 frames. I will have to wait for CHP new JR frames to be available.

I just installed 3650's, and the fit isn't great, but it works. They are about 1 mm too short for the holes. I pushed them all the way to one side, and then screwed them down tight without the rubber dampners. They don't come with servo arms long enough, and if you use servo arms from a larger JR servo, they don't have holes in the suggested 16 to 16.5 mm range. I found that the Dubro fiber re-inforced servo arms for JR, have a hole right at 16mm.

The new frames from Custom Heli Parts should fix these problems. The servo placement is also slanted like the 600e and should give a tad more length. Will be available at Ready Heli soon.

I put 3650's in both my 500's. They fit just fine, as stated with the small gap and the servo leads are just long enought if you mount the receiver on the gyro tray. IMHO it is a waste to get the new frames bc the stock ones work just fine.

I installed the 3650 servos today just because I cant wait any longer for the new style frames to come in and the wire length of the 3650 was actualy perfect. I ran the wires along the inside of the frame and used the zip-tie holes.

I'm using the 3650's with great results. By far the best servo I've used yet. And I've used quite a few... 9650's, 9257's, mg9257's etc...
