What motor are you using? I did something similar with the Esky 3800 and cracked the motor shaft right above the pinion. It let go on the first flight after the rebuild. So far the 3900 has been much stronger even with a 10t.

Sorry to hear about this. Is that a set of thrust bearings between your blade grips and the hub?

Your crash damage really isn't that bad, I stuffed mine into a stockade fence a few hours ago and broke way more parts...

UT havin a rate gyro or never learning to fly one is just covering up poor flying skills a heli has a tail that needs to be flown. Bein able to fly a rate gyro just proves the man knows what he is doin.

Hows that norsman

Tryan all kidding aside,if your flying scale with a fuse you want that tail to come around nice and scale like. When I used to fly my get ranger my gyro was dule rate and I would turn it off so the tail would follow. If you do fly scale with a hh gyro you have to push the tail to look scale....

I hear ya norsman but I dont fly scale I fly "A SCALE" Im still learnin tryin to get my skills in regular flight down. But you are right the HH gyro looks mechanical in flight like its on a rail which it basically is. In slow flight you end up flying the tail more than you would a rate gyro.
