I've been seeing lots and Lots of posts about maintanence, set up ,and heli repair,lately....so I did some research, read all the manuals and have compiled what I think is the most COMPLETE,COMPREHENSIVE,DETAILED,and ACCURATE set up guide...on R/C heli there is....this is a general guide and can be applied to ANY heli not just the HBK

STEP 1 if its loose, and its not supposed to be, tighten it

STEP 2 if its tight and its not supposed to be,loosen slightly

STEP 3 if it spins and/or rotates straighten and/or balance it

STEP 4...PAY CLOSE ATTENTION...THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP....go fly your heli as much as possible..till something breaks,or wears out

STEP 5 replace any broken/worn out parts

STEP 6...go to step 1

THERE you have it, my comprehensive maintanence/set up guide...I spent many hours compiling this info.....if you follow this guide, you will have many years of happy R/C flying.....enjoy...FENDER

Oh great, then I guess there is no need for my setup guide. Well that was a total waste of time.

nice fender I had one but it was no where near as good I wrote it while flying the BCPP. You know the one you could straighten the spindle by bending the blade grips straighten the main by pressing with thumbs. Fix blades with tape and glue.

1: If it aint broke dont fix it till it is.
2: If it shakes or bobs a little see if it will still fly ok.
3: Just go fly it The king is cheap for a reason.

seriously....as much as the HBK is a great little heli...that manual is WORTHLESS....although the translation leads to some good comedy

all kidding aside...while I did write this as a JOKE..to lighten things up as sometimes I think we forget this is a hobby, and we are supposed to be having fun...we tend to get a little serious....I was thinking about it, and steps 1,2and 3 really do sum it up.....1)tighten everything up,2)make sure the belt, gear mesh and sliders are moving freely...3)all shafts straight and blades balanced...go fly.....we dont need to break out the digital torque wrench and check the frame screws on a 150 dollar heli

I have yet to combine my photography hobby and my heli hobby. I guess I am just too worried about crashing to worry about my camera too.
