Does anyone know what washer goes on the inside ( toward the shaft) and outside of the thrust bearing ? I know the washers have two sides one but does one go on the outside and one on the inside of the thrust bearings? I also noticed the thrust bearings have two sides one side the bearings come out through holes the other side it's an open tract, does it matter which way faces out? Thanks

The "grove" face the bearing. That's the nice track it runs in. Also there is an inside and outside washer. The hole for the inside washer is larger. See this thread for more info and pics.

One other thing. When installing the thrust bearing, install it so the exposed side of the race is toward the inside of the head. This helps trap the grease in a little better.
