Is anyone using the Kong Power or Air Thunder Lipos with their IonX's or X2's? Are they too fat and heavy? My X1 has the battery tray configured like the X2 so I was considering a pair of Kong Power 5S 5000's. Are they too big to fit? Too heavy?

Would like to know the same, the second generation 5000mah cells are sposed to be quite good and weights are similar to FP.

I didn't know there was a "secon generation" Kong Power 5000mah. How can you tell the difference between the first and second generation?

I like the fact that you can charge them at more than 1C. It says up to 3C but they wouldn't recommend it. I'm thinking more of 1-2C would be great at the field with a balancer. At home, I would charge at .5-.75C.

Last time i flew with Kongpowers was a year ago, and I was told that the cells have been changed to offer more performance by the distributer. Not sure if there is a way of telling.
