O.K. I just got done replacing the main shaft and noticed that the replacement isn't completely straight. This is the first time replacing it and I also noticed that the original shaft wasn't completely true either. Is this common with E-sky main shafts or is this just a fluke???

After removing the main shaft, I was trying to figure out for future reference how to remove the main gear. How exactly should this be done? It seems like I will need to loosen the motor here.

I also upgraded the control arm set (EK1-0520)with the scissors shape arm (EK5-0202) and am wondering if there is a right way to install this, meaning is it possible to install it the wrong way (upside-down)?

I've read a few reports on the main shaft being pre-bent from the factory. Just consider this a time-saver...
Seriously, contact the seller for a replacement. They may or may not replace it, but it's worth a shot.

Main gear removal...
There's a bolt at the bottom that needs to be removed. The black metal insert will come out of the gear when you pull it off the shaft, so don't lose it.

EK5 0202:
That's the purple washout, correct? I've had mine installed both ways, with no noticeable difference in performance. The "correct" way, and the way I have mine installed now, is with the ball link connector leading the pin hinge, like this: /

The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.
