Who? has tried this
The CSM fly-bar-less fitted with a revlock 30 is ballistic on take off and tic toc’s are a breeze you have a superb rotor breaking effect in this maneuver. I have my pitch set at + - 15% and there is absolutely no signs of bogging because the collective pitch management system just backs the pitch off to maintain rotor speed its awesome. The Hyper engine runs absolutely sweet as a nut using the carb smart and maintains good consistent power through out maneuvers. The 14MZ also has an acceleration program for your pitch just try it in one of your idle up’s the pitch pump is hyper fast and is just a mental set up with ATV’S on aileron elevator and pitch at 140% this will kick your adrenalin in gear you wont stop till you have run out of juice. hayabusa

How does this occur? Is there connection between the RevLock 30 and the CycLock?

Edit: Nevermind... Hadn't read up on the RevLock 30 yet.

HI Jkos yes there is a connection between cyclock and revlock 30 which allows you to use more collective range than a conventional governor, which also allows you to use the power limit's of your engine and then the revlock 30 modulates the maximum collective pitch which prevents the engine bogging down its just marvelous. hayabusa

Haya:

What is your setting on the acceleration menu? Are you using it only on pitch or also on ail and elev? Does the new revlock need the cyclok or can the pitch limiter be used without it?

If you have a CCPM machine, you'll need the CycLock.

Hi flying Tivo the settings for the acceleration program for my 600n are active position left 50% right 50% …rate low = 50% rate high = 50%..Dumping = 40% make sure your servo’s are not bouncing or being stalled with your mechanical set up limits or binding you will like it . The 600n is 3 CCPM so all 3 servos function on acceleration program which is hideously quick, on say the raptor 90se I would suggest a very powerful servo on pitch if it was myself I would put 2 very powerful servos on pitch using acceleration program. Flying Tivo/Jkos the revlock 30 does not need the cyclock for collective limiter on mechanical set up but on CCPM it requires the cyclock 1. The revlock 30 is RRP £59.95and the cyclock 1 is RRP£49.95 if you shop around they can be less I use these on all my CCPM helicopters if you are on 35/72 mhz on CCPM the cyclock gives you g3 or 2.4ghz speed .hayabusa
