I'll post in the batt forum but since it's an esky battery I'll post here also. The only charger I have is the one that came with the HBK2 RTF. When I am flying the battery has a sudden decrease in power is this the proper time to stop or is the battery being drained below its limit at this time. The battery in question is the 11.1v 1500mah. I have already had one battery puff on me it was the 11.1v 1000 mah. I charge my batteries outside for safety and since I don't understand the whole charging issue I continue to use this charger. My wanting to fly is probably going to cost me until I get this battery charging issue(what to buy how it works) solved.

buy a good real balance charger the stock charger doesnt do a good job of balancing and the cells may not discharge evenly causing them to wear prematurely. Also if your packs drop off in power its too late.

The Cellpro 4s looks like a nice piece. I use a Hyperian 5i and LBA 10 balancer and it works well. Be ready to spend $100 but it is something you really need to have.

I've had pretty good results from the BC6 that I have. It has been able to balance well. I went with it because I wanted just a "one box" charger setup. It was kinda pricey, but it definately makes me feel alot safer about charging my packs. I bought two ammo cans recently. One is a 50 cal, and in it I place the charger and pack while charging, the other is a 7.62 can, I put the charged batts in there. They were realtively cheap at the surplus store. I think I gave about 20 bucks for both of them.
