Well I got her in the air. It was only for a few seconds and only a few inches but she does fly (for reference: the Mini is a girl heli and the King is of course a boy heli) I did take a video and it is pretty lame but hey, at least I did it!

The king is down I wore it out flying it so much weak servos stripped gears caused a loss of center and I crashed it or else you would of seen piros in the box. that should of earned some extra points. Oh well I didnt have time for the contest Fender deserved it anyway.


I moved on to the figure 8 challenge of dougies.

give it a try anyway...I want to see it...I TRIED and TRIED...could not get a piro to hold in the box....2 ft maybe 1 ft is really hard.....sounds like another challenge to me....piro in the box....I think it could be done outside as the ground effect is much less.....I'm gonna see if I can do it just for my own sake

it's so of a temptation to get a mini titan... the heli is so beautiful=D

my first helicopter was a coaxial walkera 5g4, exactly the same as lama v3, but the walkera is more recent i think then after 2 weeks i got bored with the limitations of a coaxial, specially not being able to fly outside so i've researched for 3d helicopters and something better. the first helicopter i found was the mini titan but i couldn't find a cheap version RTF, and i went with the belt cp that looked a nice helicopter, specially after seeing the esky original promo video:

but now i have the knowledge to buy a ARF and install the servos and gyro i like the most. if i were to buy the Mini Titan i would have to buy the ARF Kit with Motor and ESC and Hitech servos HS-55... I Have the Gyro 240 already on HBK2 and the Receiver for the Futaba 6EX.
