Scott,I have not owned or built a Hurrican but I can say this much I have seen them fly and they will 3D with the best of the 50 class.Either the Hurricane or X50,they are really great flying heli's.I have been flying the X50 for awhile now and mine has about close to 70+ flights on it and still tooling along very well.Now I have put mine in on a couple of ocasions but to my supprise how well it held up.I think what ever one you choose,you will have fun

Yes pretty much, however Steven our pilot can do pretty much everything with the Hurrican he does with the X50 it's just a heavier machine.

Very solid and will take you from beginner to 3D with the same machine, when your ready for all out wild 3D the X50 handles the bill perfectly.
