I need some ideas, how do you guys hang your helicopters on the wall, thinking of just using 2 hooks per helicopter.

Also my main concern, any pics and ideas of how you transport your heli in the bed of a truck?

I use my old traing gear in the truck.
I attach the heli with velcro and use a tie down strap over the balls on the gear.

I hang my heli from beams in the basement. I attach it to the grips and tail fin.

My man space...

Here's my fleet. 2 of the 5 have just been pulled out of a 4 year hibernation (hence no boom or main shaft) The Trex 600 is new and in the process of being assembled and the Rappy and Trex 450 are in flight ready status.

Was going to go vertical with the wall storage but didn't have enough height.

For hauling to the field and whereever else in my truck, I have a board about 24" wide and 5' long. Covered it with carpet and then put some of the K&S skid clamps on it. I can get three models on the board and can slide it in and out of the bed. Makes it much easier than having to climb in the bed all the time. I used to use it im my Caravan. It was designed to fit over the rear seat and sat on the armrests in the rear.

I got mine on a wall. My problem is traveling. I got the 450 case witch works very well but how to i travel with my 600N? Does anyone have a case that they use that works well with airlines? A budy of mine uses a hard shell golf club travel case with foam cut out to hold everything, but he has to take his gear off and blades I think. i am looking for something that can hold heli, controler, charger, field equipment, parts, and so on. Any ideas?

pick it up and shake it off...she'll fly again

Hi All,

Wow, you have some great setups. I just put mine on a piece of rubber non-skid matting in the back of my Jeep. I fly everyday during the summer and haven't had a problem with the helis just sitting there (over 500 flights last year). But after looking at your setups, maybe a change is in order.

Thanks for sharing your setups.

Any other ideas for strapping it down in the bed, I got a 07 frontier and it got the plastic bed liner. Was thinkin about makin some small holes in it so I could run string through it and tie my skids to it. But then again water would go in it.

Thanks for the pics , enjoy lookin at them

Mine just take up space on the kitchen table or the kitchen floor. The girlfriend almost never comes over so my place is all RC. She hates it but i like it. For some reason chicks don't have the gene that says rc helis are cool.......... Works out well for me. I do my thing and she does her's.

The planks actually have hangers, they need them. Heck they've been hangin for years......

Models to me , toys to her..........
