I just ordered a 3DX 500 SA v2, being a pretty wicked 3D heli pilot I wanted to get the most out of this helicopter.. The first thing on my list to buy is the new v2 CNC Main hub, Then CNC Blade grips.. Ill be looking around the forms for them if anyone is selling them...Ill be keeping everyone updated with pictures along the way... originally I was going the get the SE but i hated the frame design so i went with the SA.. Here is the following setup information.. The heli should be here Friday or Saturday and monday at the latest... I cant wait....

3DX 500 SA
425 mm CF Blades
3DX 850 Kv Motor
24 T pinion
HobbyWing 60 Amp esc (Switching to Align 60 AMP)
Maxwell DS 260 High speed, High Torque MG (cyclic)
Futaba GY 401 (Hopefuly Gy 601)
2 Kong Power 2200's In series 6 Cell

I will once i get the helicopter... It just arived in the United states about 2 hours ago.. I hope it will be here tomorrow but i doubt it.. Saturday probobly...

Well thats good to know, everyone says that if you go over 9 degreese of pitch that it will strip the main gear.. I hope not..

Anyone having this problem..

Grrr

Just a little update, The package with my 3DX 50 was tried to be dilivered today this morning at 10:30 while I was at school... Found out that my sister was sleeping heard the door bell ring 6 times and heard the mail man knock many times and she just laied there and went back to sleep, Now they will rediliver it tomorrow (saturday or if not then monday) i am so pissed.. Grrr

The stock motor and esc is not up to 6s. Certainly not on 24 tooth either.

If you use the new 130T main gear there is no stripping problems, the bird is insane with the new head parts, lighter paddles. I have gone a step further and put a longer boom, changed the tail ratio and put 463's on it. What a Hoss with some Flightpower 6s 2500's! You get 4 minutes of pure joy with the Z-power 20.

I hope to see the new belt drive pulley as a standard part of the kit, adding the extra 10T made a huge difference along with using a full size servo for the tail.

ok well, I flew it and got everything dialed in.. Im switching to a JR 770/3400 G for the gyro adn tail servo... 6 cell li-po is balistic and i dont want to even dare to fly it.. I turned my Trottle curves wayyyy down so i could see how it is.. I think my best bet is going to be 4 cell... I had my idel 2 set at 50% TC all the way across and i had plenty of power for wicked 3D..

Thats the update for now.. Video to come..

Just a small update, The 6 cell just had wayyyy to much power.. So i sold my 6 cell batts and bought a 4 cell 3200 Kong Power.. Anyways, I also bpught a DX6i and AR 6100e, Along with selling my GY 401 and i bought a JR 770 from a friend... Right now I converted the heard to Flybarless.. I have not flown it yet but i know it will be fine... I will get pics up and posted, i also got a new multi charger..
