Sorry Tex, I think that is the price for one and he has 5 available for purchase.

I ordered some from HK and they finally came today. Took about 2 weeks. They don't say E-Sky on them anywhere but they look exactly the same. I paid $31 for 5 sets shipped. Time will tell if they are as good as real E-Sky blades.

To shorten the blades: I traced the king blade onto the 400 blade and then cut with a coping saw. I simply removed the little metal rod imbedded in the blade and then taped it over with good tape and finally balanced. DougsRC cuts his rod and all then seals with CA. So thats two ways to do it.

thanks Sgt

as a question about woodies, I used two different types: the plain white ones and the ones with red and black tracking stickers.
do you know the difference among those two types of blades?
or is it just different output series?

I don't know of a difference, may just be the packaging.

US HOBBY SUPPLY

Just ordered two sets. I had a blade strike last night, so my spares are getting low. They didn't tell me they were on back order or anything. 9.99 a set. Ordered from them before without issue.

Well, I tried the X-treme blades last night, and I'm not sure I really like them. The main issue seems to be the weight, you defenitely feel it when you spool up, although they seem to track better and are very smooth in high speed. It just makes the heli seem less agile and sounds kind of louder and struggling, especially the tail rotor, for some reason, makes louder noise.

Still, I think I'll keep them for emergencies when waiting for the wooden blades to arrive

I still wonder if carbons would be lighter than woodies...
