I just put one on my Mini Titan. At only $17.55 + ~$4 shipping, 5 day delivery from Hong Kong, I think this is the best upgrade I've ever purchased in this hobby. So far I've put about 10 flights on the little green motor and it is a powerhouse. I was running the stock red TT motor with 13t pinion and radix blades, 3s tp 2070's. I switched to the greenie, still with the 13t, same batt & blades, and my headspeed went from ~3000 (on the red motor) to ~3650, with no noticeable difference in flight time. The TP 25c batts are definitely running hotter. It made my little mini titan go from fun to waay scary. I push it pretty hard and have yet to break the heli or motor yet. I'm still running an all stock, plastic heli, and it's still in one piece.

Next step will be to try a 15t pinion... headspeed should bump up to just about 4k.

I dont see how you are getting 3000 headspeed on the stock motor with a 13T....are you sure those numbers are right??

Ok, so I was a bit off, but :

13/150 x 3500kv x 11.1v x 90% = 3030rpm

13/150 x 4000kv x 11.1v x 90% = 3463rpm

15/150 x 4000kv x 11.1v x 90% = 3996rpm

no...I wasn't saying you CANT

...I just didn't think the stock motor gave that high of a headspeed..I've never tached mine so I'm not sure about mine....I just thought I read somewhere the stock set up gave around 2500...with a 13T

I've not tached mine either, just going by the calcs. I don't have a tach that goes that high. Plus, why bother. Whatever it really is, I'll just want more

The bottom line is that the mini flies good with the stock red motor, and like a scalded cat with the $17 green motor.

I've been running one for several weeks. I agree it was the best upgrade for the money for Mini T. It has great power and runs pretty cool. I think the 200W designation is off though. I can drain a 2200 lipo in 5 minutes or less so I think its pushing 275W easy. I'm using an 11t pinion to keep the HS around 3000, plenty for me and doesnt punish the batteries so much.

i had a go with a 400th but not very good results
i have just ordered a turnigy from UH to try
what head speed and pinions are you all useing i want to keep around 3000rpm
any bogging at all with this motor

I'm running +-12.5 deg pitch with the 13t pinion. When I peg it, it does bog down. The rpm probably drops to 2500-3000, so it doesn't really matter. It is a blast to fly.

I'm going to try a 15t pinion and a 60 amp esc soon.

I'll try to get some video this afternoon of the green monster.

I pushed it hard yesterday, trying my best to break the heli or burn up the motor. It just keeps running. The headspeed is getting fast enough with the TPv2 packs that it has that reverberating sound like it's going to let loose and explode in a hail of ball links. I'm worried that it's near the failure point of all the plastic parts (this is an all stock plastic MT) but don't worry I won't cave in yet. No upgrades for this bird - that would be against the man-law for this kind of destruction testing. I leaned on it pretty hard, the motor got up to 230F

and the batts & esc up to 160F and it just laughed at me.

I guess I'll just have to try harder to wreck my $17 motor.

mine turned up mounting holes are incorrect so i had to drill out the motor mount for it to fit
fitted an 11t pinion and am about to do a head speed check
i will post the findings

pitch at 0 head speed with 11t pinion 3200rpm at 95% power
when we get some better weather flight testing and see if it bogs at all

Oh, yeah, I forgot that I had to drill out the MT motor mounting plate. The holes do not match, but it is no big deal to make the turnigy motor fit.
