I've decided to stop being so cheap and order what's possibly the best fun on God's green earth. I've purchased 2 Jetcopter SX's. I just purchased upgrade exhaust from Rick and just came from my local sport shop buying 10 cans of power max and that's just for beginners. No need to worry about kerosene out here in Chicago as some local filling stations carry it, all I have to do when I want it is to go pump it, is that a sweet deal or what? I currently have 3 Vario scale helicopters NIB unbuilt and I'm afraid that's where they will be after these turbines come. I'm saying this and I haven't even received them yet. OK you guys tell me, do you fly your other heli's now that you got your turbine heli. I even noticed that Peter Whales of Florida is selling off all his scales. All I'm waiting on now is for Taylor at Vario USA to finish building. All this excitement and I haven't even tasted the kerosene in the back off my throat yet. Hurry up UPS man I'm waiting(-: SWWWWWEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there anything else I should prepare myself for before the big arrival? AGRAV8 what's up your next dude!!!!

The JetCopter is great, but it won't be replacing flying my other scalers any time soon. Now that I've flown mine a few times I'm ready to find a good fuse for it.

Yeah, I hear ya, Deon......I got my $$$$ ready, just can't find my pen and checkbook AND courage all at the same time. Just got back from Ricks' place......he has two pipes ready to ship in boxes. Hope your check is in the mail!

No, by itself, the jetcopter will NOT replace my other machines....of course, all I have left is a raptor and a gasser XL. Kinda makes it real thin in the fleet, but my friendly banker is finally NOT pissed at me.

Hurry and get yours up in the air....I have the best tech in Texas 3 hours away....when MINE does arrive, it will be shipped straight to Barrington Street, San Antonio Texas.........

Maybe lots of toothpaste since your going to have an ear to ear grin

Just wait till you start it the first time, it is such a thrill, heck it's still thrilling every time I fire mine up

On the serious side, go get a CO2 fire extinguisher, just in case something bad should happen.

Congrats on your recent 'investment'!! You won't regret it, believe me. I still take my Fury and Rap 60 out, but not NEARLY as often as I do the jet. That thing is just beyond cool.

Most major towns have a fire safety equipment supplier who carry the extinguishers. Make sure it's C02. If you can't find one, I'll pick one up and send it to you.

The going price for a 5 lb unit is $125-$150.
