| Due to the overwhelming response to our first pepsi challenge, we wanted to open it up to all you EP flyers as well.
We have three new electrics:
Quick Fly: 1050KV Motor, 6S Li-Po 22.2V @ 4000mAh, 440mm-475mm blades
Quick Superfly: 750KV Motor, 4S Li-Po 14.8V x 2 for 29.6V @ 10,000mAh, 500-515-530mm blades
Quick Hardcore: 450KV Motor, 4S Li-Po 18.5V x 2 for 37V @ 10,000mAh, 600mm-620mm blades
So what is the point? The point is that our machines take a different approach than other electric helis. We have been doing electrics for over eight years now, and have found that our setup is the most efficient and most cost effective, here's why.
First off, our motors operate at a lower KV and run at 90% efficiency. Our motors provide high torque
and high power, yet run at a cooler temp than most other motors. Lower KV also means less draw,allowing the use of lower output batteries, so you can use batteries that are less than half the
price of batteries needed to run high KV motors. One of the overall best benefits is extended flight times. With our set up you can easily get 12 minute flights.
The reason for this post is that we extend our challenge to our electric series. We feel that our technology is well ahead of the industry, our electrics are one of the best built on the market, and
we want to extend a chance for people to find out for themselves. We think people will be both impressed with our helis and amazed with our technology.
