I am seriously considering picking up one of these little guys,

Can anyone tell me how their experience has been - reliability, flying characteristics, etc.

Also - what seems to be the popular aggressive 3D setup,

Motor, ESC, pinion size, battery???

Also gyro and servos for cyclic?

Using the JR servo package of 285's and the 3400G.
Radix 325 mains
Solid G gyro (use the Trex 500 setup instructions)
Spektrum AR6100e receiver
Scorpion 2221-6 outrunner motor and 11 tooth pinion
Align 35amp 6 volt esc
Thunder Power 2200 Xtreme packs

Fly's nice and is perty peppy...
