| The clutch is mounted on a tapered shaft. I get mine off by loosening the big socket head cap screw a couple of turns and then giving that bold a sharp wack with a small hammer. That usually knocks it loose. Then you just lift it out or let it drop out. It's possible your bolt came loose. It's possible the clutch is slipping on the taper. If everything looks good, reassemble it but before you do clean up the taper with a very fine emery or steel wool. Clean up the inside of the clutch shoe taper also the best you can. Clean it all up so it is pristine clean and dry. Now put a small amount of light oil on the tapered shaft. Install the clutch but tighten slowly while rotating the shoe a little to get a good seat. Finish tightening and she should hold tight.
Joe Howard helped me with the tips above.
Don't forget to do a full check of all of the other driveline components.
