is this heli a better design?
how does it fly compared to Trex 450?
what about US parts availability?
thinking about one for my squadron.

There are already a couple of threads about this subject but for my part, I prefer the beam to the trex design. (I've already enumerated me reason in another thread)

As for parts availability, check www.beamheliusa.com . I've had no problem getting parts fast so far.

Very nice and aggresive machine.

I'm not an expert and I have nothing much to say on performance.
However, the design of Beam is the best among the mini helis.
I can say that Beam is an ART.

Fly high with dreams !!

OK seen the link but what is your opinion on these helis?
who has flown both trex and beam?
not looking for the most power, just a good quality machine with good parts support.
what power systems ar you using?
what gearing options are available?
how long does it take to receive parts in US?

I've been flying both. In fact, I've been flying trex from a lot of people at different event and been thinkering if I should invest in one too. they are a lot of fun little machine, easy to fly anywhere.

When the Beam came out, it was the last drop that make me buy one. I've ordered mine directly from Singapore last year. Some of the problem that bothered me (mainly the tail belt) were addressed by the beam, the all carbon and alu also got my eyes.

The quality of the kit is superb, parts fits perfectly, no loose anything. Flys well, looks terrific and parts are available in USA by super fast advantage hobby.

I resumes what avery other post are telling about this machine

When you hold one in your hands, you feel like you are holding a piece of jewelery instead of heli.

We currently fly Beam E4, Trex 450se, TP Extreme 450

Power has nothing to do with heli unless you are allowed to use only what comes with the heli. You can put whatever other 450 size power setup you wish as the main gear teeths are identical to other 450s.
Part support is available from advantagehobby.

We are using Neu Motors. Others use Scorpion, Aling, etc...
Since the US distributor, oversea dealers are not allowd ot ship to US. You must buy from a dealer in US.
