Caliber 30's

I have 2 in the air and a spare airframe for parts. I still love the way they fly.

Cop: Sir, have you been drinking? Driver: Why? Is there a fat girl in my backseat?

Me too. And I added a Caliber 4 to the flock late last summer.

I have one that I just started flying last summer (my first nitro). Nice, relaxing flyer. Handles so sweetly- inverted is almost effortless.

Sadly, I am getting ready to sell it, probably to a friend in the club; it will be his first helicopter. I just need to fund a radio upgrade. But even typing this, I'm torn- maybe I'll just sell one of my cars instead...

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.

I learned to fly on a Cal 30,(thanks to help from members on this forum).
My Caliber 30 has been durable and dependable. I would have a hard time parting with it. After having a good experience with the Cal 30, I have since added a Caliber 5 and and have ordered a Caliber 450V from RCHeliworks
Twin Brothers From Different Mothers

That can't be good!

So far so good. Mine is still flying, although I havn't flown it in a few. I've been flying the C-5 instead.

Here I am back in my hovering days.

This is my favorite pic of my Caliber30. FF in my backyard with the sun setting behind the heli.

The Caliber 30 is one hell of a great heli!, I love mine!, how long do you think parts will be available, since it has been discontinued?

Actually, quite a while, since almost every part on it is interchangeable with the Caliber 4....

I have a t-rex450Xl with upgrades that im adding a few thing to to finish it also....Still new to heli's really I have been able to fly some but hard time to hoover in small area yet (6 ft area) would like to get it down to steady hoover in one foot area. then I think I will feel more comfortable to start other manuvers.
