Okay , I got in a couple of more flights on this HK-3026-1210 Scorpion outrunner. This is by far the most POWERFUL motor that I have used on the EP8. Now I have tried just about every motor there is for the EP8 and none of them can even come close.
I just flew it real hard and the motor was cool to the touch, the batteries were a little warm, but the motor was cold.( I need to get me a tach and a temp gauge). The quality of this motor is better than any motor I have tried , you can look at the way the machining and assembling was done and just tell its the best.
I am using a 6s1p 3300mah 25C battery and 16 tooth pinion with a Castlecreations 80 amp Pheonix ESC in high govenor mode with my throttle at 74% straight line curve( that don`t sound right ; "straight line curve?", The head speed is around 2800-2900RPM`s unboggable awsome power.
This is the best motor for the EP8 EX that I have ever used so far.
These motors only cost $75.00... Unreal price

It is the best motor that I have tried , the Z20-1500/1470kv Zpower , and the Medusa 36-50-1000 come close but no where near the HK3026-1210kv Scorpion ,but you better have some good 25C batteries cause this motor is amp hungry.

[quote]Max Continuous Power .... 1365 Watts[quote],
That is a lot of watts for this little motor. This motor does suck some amps out of my batteries, the batteries get much warmer than any of the motors that I have tried so far.....
But man this thing has some torque , it is unreal..
It is about the same size as the Hacker A30-XL motors.

I got to fly a couple of more batteries through it today on my lunch break, I work at a machine shop running a turret lathe, and we have a good spot to fly at in the front of the shop.
Man this motor realy amazes me with how much power it has , it realy is impressive . I was flying realy hard too, constant loops and rolls , stationary loops, ( I can`t do the stationary rolls yet), but the motor comes down at 101*F degrees . My batteries were a little warm, 128*F degrees , but not excessive .
The HK-3026-1210 Scorpion motor is the best motor I have tried , it beats the Zpower, Z20 , and Medusa 36-50-1000kv ,and Axi , and most definately the hackers .
Just looking at the Scorpion motor it is realy a quality motor...

I guess I got to get me a Scorpion motor for my Trex450v2 . I am using the Medusa 28-40-3400 right now and it is powerful, but they are saying the Scorpion motors are way more powerful than the Medusa...

Scorpion web page states 3026 motors were designed for the "newer" 500 to 550 class helicopters that are becoming so popular. Guess they haven't heard of the QJ-8!

Hmm i'm currently using a Zpower 1470kv, i'm gonna upgrade to the scorpion after i upgrade my packs. The way this motor sounds, it'll rip your lipos to shreds haha

...It was a radio glitch...
