Blitz Helicopters Avro 90 > Avro Basic dimensions?

Can someone get me some basic dimensions of the Blitz Avro?

I'm wanting to see if it will fit in a Blackshark fuse. I need the height of the frames, main shaft to tail shaft dimension, width of all the mechanics/main gear, etc...

I don't want to plunk down some money only to find out it won't fit.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

sorry to get back to you so late, i had to stay away for stuffs and just came back this week with the Blackshark fuse.

The Blackshark fuse does not fit the avro frames on 2 points: the 2 spacers over the gyro mount. But with a few mods, this would be possible to fit it inside i think, a good nail and dremel, some safety glasses and gloves + brathing paper filter( carbon scratches a looot and is dangerous for lungs !) might do the trick.

Here are a few picture to let you see, my Avro will be converted to electric with Scorpion 4035 - 500Kv in the next few weeks to make some tests

BEst regards,

Fabien

Welp...thats my same fuselage...bummer than it won't fit. Thanks for checking. I was worried it wasn't going to fit there where the lower frame is just by the rear in the fuel tank area. Guess I'll just have to get the E3.

Fabien,

did you paint that blackshark 3 fuse yourself? It's a very good paint job indeed. Looks like you might have to make the swashplate hole bigger too. Blackshark T type might have been a better option for CCPM.

Hi,

the hole for the swashplate is ok and does not need to be modified. I did not check for the starter hole but it is close from the Avro starter insert, i'll double check that in the evening.

For the paintjob, i did it with the pictures of Hirobo helis of official flyers ( and Hirobo adds pictures) but i'm not happy with my strippings on the front, it's a bit unsymmetrical. You do not really notice it when you do not know about the error, but when you did it, you only see that lol ...

I'm thinking in designing a F3C fuse for the Avro as i manufacture scale fuselages, a F3C one is n ot so hard to make, but i need ideas for the design.. Anybody gets some ?

BEst regards,

Fabien
