Kyosho Caliber 30 & 60 - Concept - Nexus > Caliber 4 + JR 6102 Mixing Help

Just dropped my servos in my new C4 yesterday. The XP6102 is set in the 120 degree swash mode..... The mixing of the swash just isn't adding up for me. Does the swash move down for positive pitch? If anybody has any tips about how I should set up my radio it would be greatly appreciated! The manual isn't very helpful. This is my first heli with a 120 degree swash plate and I want to get it right the first time......

Swashplate should move up for positive pitch. If all your cyclic servos are moving in the same direction go to the ccpm mixing screen and change the "pitch" % from a + number to a - number.

(search for ccpm setup and posts by dkshema, he's the kyosho guru on RR)

I've posted this particular setup time and again, each time I make it just a little bit more generic...

Very lengthy post -- the second one, but will tell you all you need to know about setting up your CCPM Caliber 4...

PM me if you have additional questions.

This post is one I put up quite awhile ago:

dealing with CCPM setup on a Caliber 30 -- it's nearly identical to the Caliber 4, so the pics should help as you go through the setup.

Cool. Think I've seen all (or lot) of your heli's dkshema. The Kyoshos anyways. Seems we are going to get slammed with snow yet again. I guess it will give me some time to play with it. Thank you for the help. I just don't have time to be driving to the hobby store right now. Right in the middle of my paramedic class and swamped with other things to do. Once this project is complete, I'm going to start working on my scale version of U of M's survival flight.. Can't wait. I have got to have something to maintain my sanity!!!!
